Team Poland WSDC
We’re looking for the top high school debaters in Poland to represent the nation at the 2027 European Schools Debating Championship, Eurasian Schools Debating Championship (Turkey), World Schools Debating Championships 2027 (Bulgaria) and other international competitions.
WHO CAN APPLY?
Students attending high school in Poland during the 2026–2027 academic year, or Polish nationals living abroad who are actively engaged in the Polish debate circuit
May 1, 2026: Applications Open
June 10, 2026: Application Closes
June 15 – June 29, 2026: Online Tryouts
July 15, 2026: 12 students selected to the National Team Pool (Up to 16 students selected to the National Development Squad)
August 2026 – July 2027: Training, and competition participation
November 2026: Final 5 selected to represent Poland at WSDC 2027 in Sofia, Bulgaria
HOW THE SELECTION PROCESS WORKS
Applications are reviewed based on each student’s top 5 individual and team achievements
Up to 36 candidates will be shortlisted for the next stage
All debate formats are considered, with special weight given to:
WSDC-style competitions
International events with strong competitive fields
Application Deadline: June 10th
Application Fee: 50PLN (one-time fee)
